
Amjad Sabir is a music teacher (vocal & instrumental) He was born in Pakistan. He has learnt Harmonium from his father who was the disciple of Talvandi Gharana. He has studied Tabla with Ustad Talib Hussain Khan. He migrated to Canada in 1993 and Manitoba (Canada) has become his home and stage and showcase for his talents. Best known as a vocalist in Winnipeg. At present, he is teaching at the India School of Dance, Music & Theatre and University of Manitoba, School of Music, Division of Preparatory Studies, Canada. He has produced DVD's (Learn Tabla & Harmonium at Home) to share his experience.
